Two Opportunities to Learn about the Healing Miracles of Jesus

Ladies,

As a wonderful follow up to the sermon of Feb. 15 (check out the St. Paul's web site to hear it if you weren't in attendance), here are two new opportunities to learn about the Healing Miracles of Jesus. Both examine the same healing accounts but each class will have its own flow and order of presentation.

The Healing Miracles of Jesus Bible study is a comprehensive study of Jesus' 26 individual healing encounters as recorded in the Gospels.

In it we will:

1. endeavor to answer the who,what,when,where and how's of each of these encounters;
2. note the similarities of each of these accounts - specifically what were Jesus' actions (touch, healing words, prayer, etc.);
3. attempt to classify what type of healing occurred (physical, emotional, mental or spiritual);
4. note any unique element of that healing; and
5. list any lessons that were learned from the account.

The two offering times are:

• Friday Mornings at 9:15 in Skardon Room 3. Begins Friday, February 20. Facilitator is Lorelei Campeau. (Nursery is available.)
• Thursday Mornings at 9:30 (finishing in time for the 11 a.m. Healing Service in the Church building) in Skardon Room 11. Begins Thursday, March 5. Facilitator is Patricia McVay. (Sorry, no nursery is available.)
